About our journal

Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Technology(IJSST) is published by Seed Science Society of Iran in collaboration with Seed and Plant Certification and Registration Institute. It is recorded as the first open access and peer-reviewed seed research journal in Iran covering all aspects of seed science and technology.

The journal has been accepting and publishing the latest scientific findings since 2012.

The Journal has been publishing quarterly since 9th volume, spring of 2020

( before that, the journal was published twice a year)

 

 

The full-text articles of the journal are made freely available as open access and is licenced as CC BY 4.0

The original research articles in related areas, including physiology, ecology, biochemistry, biotechnology, and other related topics, are considered for publication. Research on vegetative-reproductive organs is also fitted within the scope of the journal.

The article submission and the peer review process of the journal is free of chage. But for each article that is accepted in the peer review process of the journal, 2,500,000 IRR is recieved as the publication charge.

Copyright owner / Copyright holder: Authors retain copyright to their work without restrictions. The author has  full control over the work (e.g., retain the right to reuse, distribute, republish etc.). 

Licensing Policy: The Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Technology is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
