About Journal

Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Technology (IJSST) is an open access and peer-reviewed quarterly journal dedicated to the theoretical and empirical articles. Papers are subject to a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality of their underlying research methodology and argument. This journal is following of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws. The journal welcomes all kinds of research and review articles related to its subject area for publication.

The journal was is published by Seed Science Society of Iran in collaboration with Seed and Plant Certification and Registration Institute concerned with new concepts and innovative technologies in "all aspects of Seed Science and Technology". It is recorded as the first open access and peer-reviewed seed research journal in Iran covering all aspects of seed science and technology.

The journal has been accepting and publishing the latest scientific findings since 2012. The Journal has been publishing quarterly since 9th volume, spring of 2020. (before that, the journal was published twice a year).

The submitted papers will be published after review as well as the approval of the editorial board. The honorable professors and researchers are highly appreciated if they visit this site, register, submit and set up their papers based on the authors' guidelines. Therefore, visiting in person or calling the journal office is not recommended, so all connections with authors and reviewers are done through the website.

Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Technology (IJSST)  is a fully access journal which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Technology (IJSST)  is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). In this journal and under open access license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content, but allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy the content as long as the original authors and source are cited properly. The authors are the copyright holder in this journal and retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions.

Financial Policies

Article Processing charges:

Based on the approval of the editorial board of the journal and the approval of the Seed Science Association of Iran (the license holder of the journal) in July 2021, for articles that are accepted in the peer review process to be published, 2,500,000 IRR is received as the publication fee from the author(s).

There are no charges for the submission or the peer review.

 

Subscription Fee

Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Technology (IJSST) publishes as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.
