About Journal

Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Technology (IJSST) is an open-access, peer-reviewed quarterly journal dedicated to theoretical and empirical articles. Papers are subject to a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality of their underlying research methodology and argument. This journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards by ethical laws. The journal welcomes all kinds of research and review articles related to its subject area for publication.

The journal was founded by the Seed Science Society of Iran in collaboration with the Seed and Plant Certification and Registration Institute, focusing on new concepts and innovative technologies in all fields of Seed Science and Technology. Submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough review process and require approval from the editorial board before publication.

Since its inception in 2012, the journal has been dedicated to publishing the latest scientific advancements in the field. Initially released semiannually, it transitioned to a quarterly publication schedule starting from Volume 9, Spring 2020, ensuring more frequent dissemination of cutting-edge research.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process and require the approval of the editorial board before publication. Esteemed professors and researchers are encouraged to visit the journal's website to register, submit, and manage their papers according to the author's guidelines.

To ensure an efficient and streamlined communication process, all interactions with authors and reviewers are conducted exclusively through the website. As a result, in-person visits or phone inquiries to the journal office are strongly discouraged.

IJSST is a fully open-access journal, which means that all articles are available on the Web to all users immediately upon publication and licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display, and make derivative works only if they cite the original published article.  

Copyright Statement

In this journal, under an open-access license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content but allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy the content as long as the original authors and source are cited properly. The authors are the copyright holders in this journal and retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions.

Financial Policies

Article Processing charges:

For articles that are accepted in the peer review process to be published, 4,500,000 IRR is received as the publication fee from the author(s).

 

Subscription Fee

IJSST publishes as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.
